- Navigate to settings and scroll down to edit profile
- Click on the 'Edit profile' link
- Scroll down to additional information
- Write an introduction about yourself, your experience and expertise
You can also choose to enter your favorite music and books, favorite movies and also create a random question and answer. It is recommended to fill all areas for a sound and trustworthy profile.
After writing your bio, scroll top and tick the 'Show my profile page' box if you have not yet ticked it. Now go to your website and confirm whether the author profile is showing after a post. It usually shows below every post or article.
If the profile is successfully created, you can now proceed to create your hyperlink and link it to your profile. Follow the instructions below to create your hyperlink to your profile page on Blogger:
- Visit chatgpt here to create your account or use login
- Once logged in, give it a command like this 'give me a html code for the link to place to my website'
- Go back to your blogger profile on your site and copy the URL of your profile
- Now paste it to chatgpt and ask it to generate an html code for you
- Once generated, copy the code and login to your Blogger admin dashboard
- Click on edit profile to navigate to the profile section
- Now on the display name under 'Identity', paste the code in the display name section
- After pasting your code, remove the profile in the code and replace it with your name
- Now, click on save to update your changes
Congratulations: you have successfully created an author link to your profile without coding. Visit your blog or website to confirm whether your changes have been applied.
